The Barcelona aquarium is a sure hit for kids of all ages. Do not be surprised if youself linger in front of a giant squid or colorful anemones, long after the little lost their interest and wants to continue. If peace and quiet to enjoy the exhibits is important to you, you will have to pick your times such early early or late in the day since this place attracts families with young kids.
For the more adventurous visitors the opportunity to dive with sharks is offered on Wednesdays and weekends. The Aquarium wants to present the sharks from a scientific viewpoint to interest divers and make people to understand sharks better.
The Aquarium offers a “sharks course” with different parts: a theoretical part on sharks, a guided tour of The Aquarium and diving in the Oceanarium.
