(TRAVPR.COM) INDIA – July 19th, 2012 – Located in the Nalgonda region you find the great temple of Sri Lakshmi Narain Swami, generally known as the Yadagiri Gutta Temple. This temple is significantly devoted to the Lord Vishnu. The temple stays engaged through out the year in offerings to God. The devotee offers their prayer in and ancient style. To this day there has not been any alter in the way of offering a prayer. It is considered that the Lord Narsimha, incarnation of Lord Vishnu, made an appearance in front of one of his devotees. He was pleased with his prayer and gave him darshan in the form of Jwala.
It is also believed that a man arrested by the evil spirits and chronic diseases get well under the treatment by the swami ji’s of the temple. They say they are blessed by Lord Vaidya Narsimha. Late Sri Vangeepuram Narasimha Charyulu served for the temple as Sthancharya, and he made the proper way to offer daily puja, which is still followed accordingly.
The temple is the cave temple having five different figures of Lord Narsimha which is fairly unsual. Though the Andhra Pradesh is fairly well-known for offering the puja to Lord Narsimha, this temple is considered as the shrine for Lord Narsimha.
The view from top of the temple is beyond the world and pleasurable to the eyes. The entrance of the cave is a low arch touching the head while entering, giving the belief that the Lord blesses each and every one who enters in.
